Pin Configuration

The IRFZ44N consists of three terminals:

Working Principle

The IRFZ44N functions as a voltage-controlled electronic switch. When a sufficient voltage is applied between the Gate and Source terminals, the MOSFET turns ON and allows current to flow from Drain to Source. Removing the gate voltage turns the MOSFET OFF, stopping current flow.

Its low RDS(on) minimizes power losses, making it highly efficient for switching and power control applications.
