Working Principle

The XL4015 module uses a switching buck-converter circuit to reduce the input DC voltage to a lower adjustable output voltage.

The regulator rapidly switches the input voltage through an inductor and other filtering components. The switching process stores and releases energy through the inductor while the control circuit regulates the output voltage.

The onboard potentiometer allows the user to adjust the output voltage according to the requirements of the connected circuit.
