Technical Working & Protections
- Overcharge Protection: Automatically cuts off charging when the cell voltage exceeds a safe threshold (around 4.25V per cell), preventing overheating and damage.
- Over-discharge Protection: Stops discharging when voltage drops below safe limits (around 2.7V per cell), extending overall battery health.
- Overcurrent & Short Circuit Protection: Shuts down the output if a sudden surge or short-circuit occurs, safeguarding both the load and battery.
- Cell Balancing: Maintains uniform voltage across both cells, ensuring balanced charging/discharging cycles and preventing one cell from degrading faster than the other.
- Automatic Recovery: The module resumes operation once conditions return to normal, without requiring manual reset.
